Any Words of Encouragement?
I’ve left out the situp and Kapalbhati in Vajrasana (Blowing in Firm Pose) at the end. Feel free to add your own two cents worth here on my progress so far. Thanks!

Most improved posture has to be ’savasana’.
Flat out, you’ve got some serious lying-flat-on-your-back going on there!

You’re on the money Ian, I’ve been putting in some time at night working on this one and I’m glad someone has acknowledged my hard work!

g’day matt,
It was so nice to have you practise in dubai. April was an intense month for a lot of us and it was really great that you inspired so many of us to take on our own personal challenge. Thankyou so much for sharing your strength, focus and energy. Enjoy the experiences to come and have an awesome time travelling mate, hopefully you’ll score some surf in the nxt few months too!!
peace

After reading the article in the IQ mag in Dubai.. I finally ‘get’ this progress page (yes I am slow, particularly with exercise related activities).. and you can really tell you are getting bendier! Other notable progress… hair is getting longer, nice… and, well, I will step up and name the elephant in the room regarding the progress shots (but only cos I love you man)… the shorts are getting shorter! :0 Is this a progressive thing? Are you working up(?) to budgie smugglers? I may have to turn off the pics in the RSS feed if this is the case
Cheers, Pete (bored at work)

Hi there,
well there’s definitely progress to see according to the photos. This little project of yours is a real inspiration. I am going to participate in the challenge here in Vienna which starts on June 1 and I am totally looking forward to it especially after I’ve started following your progress.
Have a nice remaining hot time in Budapest!

You’re clearly a tripper man!!! Hahaha. Have you really not missed a day? I consider myself pretty committed…5-6 days a week but every day is taking it to a whole new level. Do you ever just want to scream and get smashed instead?? I looked at your route and its a shame. I miss you by a month. I’m heading over from Oz for the European summer. Leave in 3 weeks and I’ll be in Sweden in August!!!. One month too late to meet you and practise with you. Enjoy and power on!! Sharon

hey my suggestions is better to stop doing hot yoga and research about yoga..yoga is big ocean …and try to swim more in to the deep ocean u ll understand about yoga more and more.. in training u ll not learn anything except dilouge
anyway
wish you a good luck your journey
June 15th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
OK the trip is off… NOT! I understand where you are coming from xxxx (c’mon what’s your real name?!), but “Hot” yoga as you refer to it helps people just as much as other forms of yoga: each to their own. In the future I intend to check out other flavors, but at this point in time, cant you see I’m on a mission here?!

I’m doing the challenge .. day 15 over and I’ve never felt better .. Sending you an abundance of angel blessings to help you with your journey!!! Namaste - I see the light within your soul!!

Hi Bernadette, thank you for such a lovely and inspiring comment! It really put a smile on my face
and I’m sure it will have the same effect when others read it too. It’s funny, I was doing it pretty tough in class last week and just after you wrote your comment my classes started getting stronger again - must have been the angels you sent me

Hey Matt!
Loving the progress! The Tuladandasana, right pose you’re almost horizontal… and in Dandayamana Bibhaktapada Paschimottanasana with your head on the floor? Looking back over the 6 months it’s pretty awesome to see how much ‘progress’ has been made. Keep it up!

I’m proud to have taken class with you Matt - You are doing a great thing here and your postures are evolving awesomly. You have a really good yoga body.
David and I move to Austin on July 27. It would be great to have you visiting us there sometime this fall - Keep in touch!

Thanks for your words of encouragement! Sometimes I wonder if I’ve progressed much the last couple of months so the Progress Page is a great way for me to see where I’ve come from too. You’re right Csilla, about how others can affect us.. and how we perceive those words: negative or find a message in them! Looking forward to catching up when my feet hit the Sunny Coast sand again.

Just wanted to say congratulations on how well you’ve been doing. Great work. You’ve inspired me to get back into the sweat box again.

Hi Carlie, thanks for your comment. Great to hear you’re back at yoga again. I thought you were planning on teacher training? I’m planning on going Spring 2010, that’s if I’m not completely sick of it by then!
